A pair of sitting rooms composed in stone, timber, and a single temperature of beige.
Stone & Grain places irregular stone panels against flush timber, then furnishes the rooms with low, rounded seating and cylindrical tables. One room is intimate; the other opens to a chandelier of hanging glass. Both share the same discipline of colour.
Approach
We limited the palette to stone, oak, and a warm grey textile, then varied only the scale of the furniture. The broken-face stone is used as a vertical, not a feature wall in the usual sense — it is a material that happens to occupy the wall.
