The first surface of the house, and the small rooms that carry ritual.
Threshold collects the studio’s work at the edges of the plan: a carved walnut door, a pooja lined in marble with a gopuram in relief, geometric LED walls, and reeded-glass screens. These are not afterthoughts. They are the rooms a house is remembered by.
Approach
We give the same drawing time to a door as to a living room. Grain direction, the radius of a carve, the way light sits in a shrine — these are specified, sampled, and checked on site.
