A living room is a plan before it is a palette. Circulation is kept clear so a timber swing can move. The sofa is low. Marble tables sit as objects rather than a set. An arched stone panel and a crane-lined niche give the apartment a ceremonial pause before the dining room.
Green is used once, at full strength, then answered by stone, timber, and a restrained gold. Joinery in the adjacent rooms stays pale so the salon remains the register of the house.
This is residential interior design as architecture: the same attention given to a kitchen as to a threshold, and presence on site until the last fix.
